WD Spotted Diamond (shown above) is a young, gentle granddaughter of Whelming King with all the color in the world & 70.5" TTT horns measured 10-27-07. She is the best of Bill Derry breeding. Spotted Diamond was purchased by Danny & Carole Phillips at the 2008 Legacy Sale.

Cottonwood Creek Ranch has been in continual operation by the same family since 1893. We're dedicated to breeding quality Texas Longhorns from the best bloodlines in the breed. JR Handiman and our senior herd sire, GF Star Man (a Gunman brother), are currently breeding a herd of 60” horned cows and premium heifers.

By also utilizing artificial insemination and the natural service of such bulls as JK Creekmore, Whelming King, Phenomenon, Gunman, Emperor, and other top names in the breed, Cottonwood Creek Ranch's breeding program produces top-of-the-breed quality, color, character, and horn.
